This is so wonderful I was excited to make it. I love the industrial bits and the shiny and flat surfaces. The Crystal is one I found in the mountians around Maggie Valley, NC it has so many tones in it that it will match just about any thing. I love how the fibers take one light and change depending what you are around or are wearing. I wanted to make the stone appear that apart of the entire structure. The whole necklace is a balance between each component, without on piece or another the piece would fall apart. Balance between nature and industry there is beauty within each but when you combine the two. The results are spectacular.
The Stamped Metal is from a belt I found while cleaning out my husband grandmothers house. I thought it was really cool but rather small for me so I took apart. You can see other pieces of the belt here.

The industrial circle is one of many I have use in other pieces as well. They were the scrap parts from a machine shop in Nebraska where I met my husband. I drill and buff them so I can run wire and beads through them.
I personally wear test all my designs to be sure they will withstand the day to day wear.
This form of design is flexible to form to your body, so it will fit like it was made just for you. The polished, flat and semi shine tones insures the light will always keep you shining in this piece!
