1971 Talk Up Doll. This isn’t your ordinary doll, rather than having a pull-string located in her back, this doll’s head pulls apart from her body. This is ‘Silly Talk’, there was also a brunette called ‘Funny Talk’ and a redhead called ‘Dressy’. She says five phrases and the voice is supplied by Joanne Worley of TV’s Laugh-In. She says : “I can fit in your pocket”,”Hehehe I’m happy”, “Carry me I’m portable”, “Are you silly too”, “I’m sooo silly”, “Achoo whoops”.
She is pretty beat up with a small chunk missing from her right foot and right hand, some permanent dirt marks and her clothes are missing. But her face sticker is still fully in-tact and she says all of her phrases.
