(Gentlemen--you'd be unbearably clever giving these to your wife for your anniversary: "I will always be under your spell!--Love always, Your Big Magic Wand." Or something like that.)
Each earring is about 2 and 3/8" long. All the copper in these earrings (including the earwires) has been sealed in a high-grade lacquer to protect patina and shine, and inhibit sensitivity. They are a substantial earring--you'll definitely feel them at your ears--but not overly heavy. If you have very sensitive lobes, you might not enjoy wearing these. Since they're a bit heavier than my usual earring, I used an 18 gauge earwire. (I can wear this gauge comfortably, even though the holes in my lobes are very small.)
