Isabelle is handmade from Japanese paper clay, hand-painted, and entirely one-of-a-kind. Her hair is of mohair and her dress of vintage lace, both hand-sewn. Beneath her translucent dress she wears a painted polka-dot leotard. Her necklace is made from bronze, and the bell (it really jingles!) is vintage from India.
She is exquisitely detailed and extremely light to hold. Her limbs are jointed with wire and can be moved so that she may be propped in various positions. She is delightful to hold and pose, but she is an art doll and not intended as a toy for small children. Handle her with care.
