My favorite mosaic design is shared once again here on a round wall hanging. My earlier influences shine through with this Sun and Stars Mosaic.
A bright orange sun with recycled silver mirror outlining it's shape, night sky and stars in lilac, yellow and recycled silver mirror. Pieces of Millefiori in a star pattern were places along with bits of silver mirror in the night sky. All stained glass and mirror were hand cut to fit the design. Grouted in charcoal and sealed, the sides and back are painted an awesome dark lilac color.
A D-ring is attached for easy hanging and there's a felted foot at the base to protect your walls from getting scratched. Measures 7 inches round.
