This was inspired by my daughter's love for foxes and scarves.
The scarf pictured is sewn with fleece, though it can also be made with wool or cotton. You'll need 1/2 yard of the main color and 1/4 yard of the contrasting color. For the grey fox this is 1/2 yard of the grey and 1/4 yard of the white fleece. It can also be sewn as a red fox with 1/2 orange/red and 1/4 of the white fleece. In addition to the fabrics I've used 2 safety eyes and a safety nose. Or you can either use buttons or embroider on the features. It is very simple to sew. Playing with the placement of the eyes and head shape will give each fox a personality of its own.
They are fun to make and are fabulous gifts for kids and adults alike. It is easy to size it down for a child just by shortening the body length...or by shrinking the pattern by 80%, whichever you prefer.
I will send you a pdf pattern so that you can make your own fox scarf within 24 hours of payment. :)
Please do not distribute this pattern. It is for your personal use only. Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day!
