I hand painted the Chocolate Brown Petite Kimono Flowers Scarf, inspired by my Kyoto heritage and Kyoto Yuzen Design. I love kimono fabrics and wanted to wear as scarves, but often Kimono fabric's weight is too heavy to put around my neck. That's why I created intricate petite Kimono silk scarves with lighter and elegant silk crepe de chine.
The Chocolate Brown Petite Kimono Flowers Scarf is chic with dark warm brown with dark purple and dusty rose red colors. It's a perfect accessory piece to brighten up the winter season!
I hand painted this delicate scarf using French Silk Dye and steamed the scarf for a long time so the dye bonds with silk in molecular level.
This scarf I created is a very only one on this planet. I never use guides and never create duplicates. I always paint by hand, and never use stencils. If I ever paint a same design again, it will never be the same look. The picture no. 3 from the top shows the back side of the scarf.
The Chocolate Brown Petite Kimono Flowers Scarf, silk crepe de chine.: original size 8x54 (please note: the scarf has been pre-washed to take in dye, it has shrunk ever so slightly.)
I painted the Chocolate Brown Petite Kimono Flowers Scarf with much care and devotion. My lovingly handmade painted scarves are not mass produced products, If the scarf has a slight imperfection, please remember to enjoy an artist's hand.

I suggest the following care instruction for this scarf: Wash gently in cold water with a drop of natural soap. Rinse throughly. To dry: use a clean puffy bath towel, put the scarf in between the towel and gently pat dry. Hand dry in shade, not under the bright sun. If you want to iron, have a thin towel on top of the scarf, iron in low setting. Please keep the scarf away from clorox and alcohol.
The scarf will be shipped with the caring instruction in a reusable woven natural fiber bag.
