Some of the members of my Ravelry group are going to get together and make sweaters. Some will spin, some will knit, some will crochet; but in the end, we'll each have a sweater to show for our efforts! You do NOT have to purchase this listing in order to participate; in fact, you don't even have to use Storied Yarns products in your sweater! With this purchase, you will receive a full 5 skeins of yarn The extra great part is that you're only paying for 4 skeins! I will throw in the last skein for FREE! I will dye the yarns for your package according to your color preferences. You can choose a semi-solid, two semi-solids to coordinate together, or a variegated/multicolored option. Pick a literary inspiration or - just this once - pick any color or combination of colors, regardless of the literary/cinematic theme association. :)
At this price point you can receive any of the following yarns: Superwash Merino Worsted, Superwash Merino/Nylon Sock, Merino/Silk Sock, Merino Lace, Superwash Merino DK, or Superwash Merino Bulky. If you would prefer a different yarn type, just send me a message and I will set up a custom listing for you! I can provide you with luxury options or lower-cost economy yarns; this listing is a nice middle of the road.
When I dye your yarns, I will do my best to dye them as close to identical as possible. If you want semi-solids I will put at least two skeins in the dye pot at once; if you want variegated shades I will dye them all at one time. Please remember, however, that since I am a person and not a machine I won't be able to make each skein an EXACT copy of the next.
Once all Sweater-Along purchases are in I will order supplies and get dyeing. You will receive your package in the mail shortly after that! I will be leaving this listing open until January 10; that way I can have the fiber and yarn in my hands before the end of the month so I can ship it as soon as possible to the participants.
