Stacked layers of super shiny transparent and cane glasses in colors of: dark aqua, pale chartreuse, and teal give this piece a fluid and watery feel.
STATS:
Listing is for ONE medium Vortex Flower "Sea Splash" focal bead shown.
"Sea Splash" was made on a 3/32nd mandrel(hole fits a 3mm round bead) and is 32mm across by 24mm long.
**Necklace image is shown for inspiration and it not included in this listing.**
Lampwork beads as seen in my "Vortex Flower Garden" necklace featured in Bead & Button Magazine Spring 2011.
INSPIRATION:
The "Vortex Flower" bead was a "happy accident" bead formed when I was trying to make a more rounded flower shape. Heat and gravity shaping caused this cone shaped wavy flower. I loved the shape so much I used it to make what became the prototype for the the "Vortex Flower Garden" necklace. The prototype pieces were made into my "Vortex Flower" style necklaces. I am excited to offer these beads as singles for designers :D
WHAT TO MAKE?
This medium style floral focal would make a lovely center piece for a necklace.
