This, WWII time period, sewing pattern, would make two, VERY CUTE, dresses. They are equally wonderful in my opinion. I would have a difficult time deciding which to make and would probably end up making them both. Although I don't think I would wear the silly hat!...I do wonder what the girl is holding in her hand. Possibly her ration ticket book?

Simplicity 4809 Misses Dress: The waist buttons in front and is gathered at the front shoulder seams and at the waistline. In Style 1. the tie collar is finished with a soft bow, and the skirt front is styled with smart shirring and pockets. The neckline of Style 2. is fashioned with a flattering collar edged with a ruffle. The skirt front is smartly gathered. Choose short or long sleeves.

Pattern: Printed and in very good condition
Envelope: In Poor Condition - YIKES! The poor old thing is tattered and has come apart at the seams! (please see photos.)
