I call it "Deco Skyline"; it was inspired by the Chrysler Building in New York.
I transferred an image of the building onto silk ans choose one of the crescent shapes that form the upper portion. The details were hand embroidered and beaded, with a focal accent made from a vintage hatpin topper (which had been unfortunately broken) enclosed in a beaded bezel. The chain is chandelier chain and it closes with a simple silver toned toggle clasp. It is backed with heavy wool felt.
