You are purchasing both sets together. They each make into approx a 32" to 36" doll. I have seen them dressed as farmers, country and victorian. They also make a fabulous Santa and Mrs. Claus. I think any style you choose will be great.
Grandma's approx measurements are: Head 7 inches, Hands one is 3 1/2 inches and the other is 4 1/2 inches, Legs are 6 1/2 inches tall. Her boots are already black, but can be repainted if you'd like.
Grandpa's approx measurements are: Head 7 1/2 inches, Hands 5 inches (both) and legs, 8 1//4 inches--he has knees! Cute knees too! As you can see in the one photo there is a "crack" I guess you would call it at the opening of his leg. This is a crack before the firing not one that occurred after, so from what I can tell it does not hurt the integrity or strength of the piece. His boots are already black, but can be repainted if you'd like.
They both have awesome detailing in them right down to the old folks veins in their hands and wrinkles in their faces. Grandma has a wedding band on her left hand. Both have molded hair, so wigs are not needed unless you would like to change their look. Add some reading spectacles, a cane, a quilt, favorite pet, tractor, rocking chair, books to hold, sewing basket, pocket watch and so many more possibilities to accessorize them to bring them to life. Definitely what a grandma and grandpa should be!
NOTE: I have the postage listed as the Parcel Post price, because that is the cheapest shipping. They will be shipped with Delivery Confirmation and Insured.
I have also set the shipping at the higher end of Parcel Post since Etsy does not have a shipping calculator, so if you are closer to me and the Parcel Post shipping is 1.00 or more cheaper than the price listed I will refund the difference to you.
If you would like to have them shipped Priority Mail we can do that. They weigh 7lbs wrapped and boxed and will ship from 83427. I will add that to the price if that is the route that you would like to go.
