It's made of durable stoneware with food safe glazes. The rolled edge adds strength and a lip to keep your food from tumbling off! The notch is sized to fit the stem of most wine goblets. I impressed each plate with grape leaves from a neighboring vineyard.

This plate is approximately 7.25" from edge to edge. The interior area for food is approximately 6" across. The hole is approx. .75" in diameter.
