I captured this single line drawing at the White Fences Equestrian Center in Austin, TX. It was a pretty amazing experience - staring into the eyes of such an amazing animal. Quite different than the people I am used to drawing!

A blind contour drawing is a line drawing made with one continuous line - and (blindly) without looking down at the paper. The process is half intuition, and half concentration - and the results are always unique. I never know what characteristics are going to come through in the drawings - but folks have called them 'aura readings' in the past - which I think describe them perfectly.
