RESERVED for Mary. The greatest part about these 30s 40s Valentines is they are very different and hardy so for the price of a nice new card, you can have something unique and charming. I have lots of these in SeaSeaRider to fit many styles, looks, hobbies, etc. so you can pick something with a personal meaning or several to do a themed tablescape for your Valentine dinner. I also have some "lots" or "instant collections" and will be listing more over the next few weeks. Keep in mind that I can always combine shipping for a discount on the cards. Convo me with zip or I can refund thru Paypal once I ship.

This listing is for a cute little cherub faced mountain climber. I think it's a boy but could pass for a girl with those eyes, rosy cheeks, and blonde curls! Dear Valentine, I'd climb the highest mountain to find you! Perfect for the collector or for your outdoors type who loves to hike, explore, or for your swiss sweetheart from the Alps as this one looks very Heidi-ish. (: Colors are very bright, no rips, tears, or creases. Signed and dated on back in ink, 1945. It can stand up on its own due to the folds.
Simply charming for a valentine table, very different. Super to be 67 years old!

I have acquired three lots of very much loved old valentines from the 1930s, 40s, & 50s. I say "much loved" because they were very well cared for as evidenced by someone taking the time to date them. Most are used, many are dated. Most all are in wonderful vintage shape. Remember SeaSeaRider's tip for old cards - if signed in pencil , you can erase. If signed in ink, just write "and" then add your name! Sure to bring a smile.
They are made of wonderful sturdy paper, most matte finish, some with a soft sheen. You can use them to give with gift baskets, to do a tablescape for a Valentine dinner or make a Valentine vignette, not just for Valentine's Day but for any time you want to show love, admiration, or appreciation.
Am in the process of listing and will try to give specific details on each. If you are looking for a particular theme (like a sport, hobby, profession, etc.) CONVO me! I just may have the perfect one that I haven't gotten around to listing! (or keep checking back as it may take me the biggest part of January to list all of them!)
For the sake of time, I'm including a ruler so you can see dimensions! For the price of a new card, you can give a unique one with vintage charm. As always from SeaSeaRider, smoke-free.

Visit SeaSeaRider for much vintage from Valentines to Christmas to books, glass and bottles, old prints ( shells, birds, botanicals, etc.), real old shells & sea finds, letterpress, MUCH (but not all) is SEA-inspired! Hence the name "SeaSeaRider" (: . I also have some OOAK original sea-inspired art of mine. Check out my weathered Sea Shingles made with actual wooden vintage letterpress and my original hand-carved stamps and my Sea Mail incorporating vintage bottles.

I always do my best to combine shipping though chart doesn't reflect since I have such a variety of different items. It's easy to do with cards. Convo for rate or check out if you don't want to wait and I will refund thru Paypal. Understand that some things, like a large flat print that can't bend and a fragile old seashell for example, may not be able to ship together.
May you experience God's peace and direction in 2012. And may you have a chance to "roll down that window and smell that salt air!"
