After curing, the translucent sheet was stained with multiple earthtone shades of alcohol inks, which ran into the crevices between the pieces, creating wonder veining and depth. Metallic copper-mica tinted liquid polymer was brushed onto the surfaces, then dry silver mica was sprinkled on for even more sparkle and bling! The featured area was cut from the base sheet so as to take advantage of the wonderful edges that occur with this technique.
A partial bezel of my custom-blend of shiny copper was stamped and enhanced with more liquid polymer, and sterling silver and copper wire served as both accents and a nice, big bail.
Dimensions: focal 2" x 2 1/2" x 1/4" thick; bail 3/8" / 10mm clear diameter
Organza gift/storage bag included.
