Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's House of Usher, these skeins are hand-painted in the vibrant greens of the great House's gardens...with a touch of darkness and decay thrown in. Greens, golds and brown are highlighted by the iridescence in these skeins due in part to the multi-layered dying process and in part to the luxurious silk content.

Each skein is 100 grams/438 yards of 50% superwash Falkland British Merino Wool and 50% silk. A wonderfully luxurious treat that is a joy to knit!

Suggested Care: Gentle wash cold and line dry. Of course, hand washing is always recommended for you hand-knit items.
