One side of the chalkboard mat is a cotton children’s fabric with cars in primary colors. The other side is a chalkboard fabric that actually works just like a regular chalkboard. You can draw with chalk, erase and do it again and again. You can use white, colored or larger sidewalk chalk. To clean wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth. Do not machine wash your chalkboard mat but you can spot clean with a damp cloth.
There are two elastic loops securely attached to the mat. One is a little one on the chalkboard side to hold a piece of chalk. That way you are always ready to draw. The second elastic loop is used to hold the mat rolled up for easy travel.
Since they travel easily the mats are great for waiting in restaurants and doctor’s offices. They are a good quiet toy for church services. The mats are also great for home use especially homeschool. Use them to practice letters, handwriting and math without going through stacks of papers. Mats are also great for drawing pictures and giving your children another medium for their amazing art projects.
