The Rucksack was created with utilitarian function and comfort in mind, and styled to be suitable for both men and women.
This one is made with a rugged waxed canvas in slate gray with hints of blue. Lined with khaki organic cotton canvas. Dark espresso brown genuine leather details.

The top flap fastens with 2 adjustable leather straps, and the top of the bag closes securely with 2 snaps. The interior features include a large zippered pocket, a slip pocket, a pen slip and a clip for your keys.
This bag is built to be strong. All the structural seams are double stitched, stress points are stitched over multiple times and then every seam is double top-stitched. Heavy duty 100% cotton thread is used throughout the bag.

About the waxed canvas we use: Waxed canvas is a tightly woven cotton fabric that is impregnated with wax to make it weather resistant, while still maintaining breathability - unlike modern day synthetic outdoor gear. The finishes used on this canvas are free of hazardous solvents commonly used in the application of wax finishes. It is environmentally friendly and US made, from a family company that has been waxing canvas since the 1800s. We are excited about this new addition to our line.
