These earrings are made with 3/4" glass domes, under which is featured Dewey Decimal numbers from vintage library catalog cards. I will select the numbers for you, and will include the cards the numbers were cut from so you know what books you're "wearing."
Very cool gift for the librarian, bibliophile, or geek in your life! Awesome gifts for new graduates of MLS and MLIS programs!
The numbers you receive will be different from the ones pictured here, but you can be sure they'll have the same nerdtastic appeal. You can pick the (general) NON-fiction subject, like art, math, history, or science, and I will select the book/number for you, and will include the card the numbers were cut from so you know what book you're "wearing."
I use a water resistant epoxy, but since one element of these earrings is paper, you should remove them before bathing or swimming.
FYI - your pair will differ from this but for the curious, the Cl 880 Au7w book is on war, and the 333.96 M13i is about animals.
