I've been waiting for just the right piece to use these fascinating antique copper hued teardrop pearls--they remind me of drops of mingled molten copper and gold, that cooled where they fell. Their rustic shapes and textures seemed a natural fit with these simply cut, translucent kyanite spears, with their random melding of iridescent teal and azure. I've combined both with one of my metal-worked copper flower clasps, this one decorated with metal stamps, texture sheets and assorted household and hardware implements. The hook and ring closure fastens underneath the flower itself, for a seamless look.
This necklace measures 20.5", and is designed to be worn as pictured, with the clasp at the collarbone. Comfortable ball chain forms the behind-the-neck section of the necklace.The pearls and stones will warm as you wear them, for a delicious feel against the skin.
