Earrings measure 3/4" by 3/8" and hang from stainless-steel, fishhook-style earwires. Other sizes and colors can be made for you, and I do have both sterling and hypo-allergenic titanium earwires in stock as well - convo me for details!
Charms are coated to protect the image, but I do recommend you do your hair/use hairspray prior to wearing them, as I cannot guarantee the finish against chemicals.
