Vintage French Green Canning Jar, for Preserving, Heavy Glass

A lovely genuine green glass canning jar from France. Made by SOLIDEX, one of the original manufacturers..

This is very heavy for it's size (2.25lbs/1kg) and it has a capacity marked 350ml (12 fluid oz)..

This type of jar is very sough after in France, and some people remove the metal clips to create a wonderful glass lid storage pot.. Either way, a charming item for the kitchen or display object for elsewhere.. You decide!
