Hand-milling is taking the soap and shredding it, then melting it down in a double boiler and repouring the soap. The texture is not as smooth as a first-time pour of soap, but the lather is just as good. This soap is scented with a blend of sandalwood, french vanilla, and cinnamon essential oil - cinnamon is reputed to help lift the hairs for a better, closer shave. This batch also had kaolin clay added to it to help with razor slip. The soap comes in the mug, but without the cool vintage razor. That's my husband's, and he would kill me if I sold it. :D
