Knit from a 50/50 merino/silk laceweight blend, in white. Just the subtlest hint of shine from the silk, and incredibly soft against the skin with a gorgeous drape. Delicate and frothy waterlily pattern in the main body, with just a touch of beading (pearly white beads, as shown in the bottom photo) in the elegantly deep border section. Hand wash in cool water using a delicates soap such as Eucalan, Woolite, or Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo (really!), and lay flat to dry.
All my work is done in a smoke-free but cat-friendly home. While this particular cat is not prone to playing with yarn, her hair (as any pet owner knows) does occasionally stray.
