Box has a separate top and bottom, and one fits over the other. Made from a real drink can, edges are folded but some are bare (sharp.) Please note this is not a toy, and should not be given to very young children. A ribbon is added in such a way that it does not easily slip off, and is used to help open the box, because the top and bottom fit together well. Instructions for tying/opening are simple and are included.

This is my largest size rectangular box, will hold three Hershey's nuggets, 5-6 caramels or 3 Werther's hard candies. It is deep enough to hold 4 chocolate kisses, plus a note from you and some special confetti!
