Pick out a card case and purchase. Purchase this listing as well and send us an email at donnie.fauber [!at] gmail.com, attaching the graphic file. We can use about any graphic format, jpg, tif, eps, Illustrator, etc. Please send only black/white or grayscale bitmapped images of at least 500-600 dpi or ppi. Please do not send web images which are typically 72 dpi. Black will be burned into the wood, white will not. We can also engrave plain text as in a name or initials, just email us the name to the address listed above. We will use the same typeface as the "D.Fauber" case which looks good and lasers well. If you would like to create your own graphic, many software programs allow saving a document as a pdf, jpeg, tiff, eps (check under the "File" menu for "Save As" or "Export" and choose a format) so you can create whatever you want, and we can engrave it. If you use type in your graphic, please create outlines of the text as we may not have the exact font you used. The graphic or text will be engraved on one side of the case, the side with the hinge pin on the left.
The maximum engravable area on the card case is 1.5" tall x 4" wide - this is the bottom section below the hinged top. These measurements allow for a .25" border between the engraved area and the edge of the case. We will size the graphic pleasing to the eye, unless you note otherwise.
Keep in mind that unless your graphic is the same proportion as the engravable area, there will be more border on the top and bottom or on the left or right sides.
The "D.Fauber Woodsmith", "Catapult" and "NC3" cases are Curly Maple.
The "APICS" case is Cherry. The "Frozen Pints" case is Padauk.
