PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for the installment! For this gown, I will require a non-refundable deposit of $875 to secure the order with three balance payments of $875 each with the shipping due with the last payment for a total of $3500 plus shipping. If you need to make more than two payments for the balance, there will be a small fee to cover the per-transaction fees I'm charged by Google. If you would like to make fewer larger payments or pay in full up front, that is perfectly fine. This gown will not ship until all payments have been made.
This two-piece gown starts with an undergown with a sheer lace bodice and a skirt of red silk charmeuse. Over this are two fringed tiers with beaded concentric circles, eight on each layer, and diagnonal beadwork on the ribbon attaching the fringe. The lower tier is attached to the silk under the fringe of the top tier. On the inside are two silk ruffles to offer the beadwork support and protection while you walk. This gown closes with a back zipper.
The second part is a vest encrusted with black faceted and red silver-lined beads. The train is attached to this and is lined completely with your choice of sequins or beads (the film used sequins). The train features many beaded drops. Where the train and vest join is a row of beaded fringe. At each shoulder are two rhinestone buttons, one at each train point, and at the front of the vest, which closes with heavy-duty hooks.
The gown shown is minus the beaded circles and diagnonal beads on fringe ribbon, and with the train modified to be wider and longer than in the film. These modifications were intentional and due to personal tastes. If you would like the circles left off, the price will go down by $300.
This gown is also appropriate for Downtown Abbey!
Please allow 16-20 weeks. Thank you.
PAYMENT INFORMATION: I, like a growing number of etsy sellers, accept Google Checkout for payments. An invoice will be sent to you from Google Checkout. While payment isn't made the very second you order, it is much more secure than Paypal, buyers are protected, sellers don't get credit card info or any other personal information, international shipping is fine (there's a common misconception that it's not, but it depends on if the seller set up the cart to accept international addresses), accounts are much harder to hack, and fees are much less for sellers. I also don't support Paypal's tendency to freeze accounts set up for disaster donations and then to hold the money for 180 days.
When purchasing, please check the "other" checkbox and an invoice will be sent directly to you. Thank you!
