Hand Painted Silk Scarf / habotai in lavender & tangerine with asymetrical navy drawing

The beauty of this 100% silk habotai scarf with hand rolled hem is in the twisting and turning of the silk; there are endless ways to wrap it and create a different look. For fun, it's got a subtle message within the texture; "i draw, i paint" – definitely a talking point if someone notices it.

I painted this with a custom mixed lavender and tangerine Jacquard Green Label dye and fix. The textural line drawing is made with permanent ink in navy, diluted to turquoise lines beneath. Because of the transparent nature of ink and dye, the navy looks darker over the orange, and lighter over the lavender. It really gives the scarf a lovely, rich, and interesting character.

Care: Gently hand wash in cool water and air dry, or dry clean.
