As you can probably tell by the name of my shop and blog, etc., I love cupcakes. I've made cupcake quilts, wall hangings, softies and of course the real edible kind. So, I decided to design this new cupcake-shaped taggie blanket. All items are handmade with care in my smoke free home studio.
Babies love to feel all the different textures on this cute little mini-quilt. I tried to think like a baker and a mom when I made these. The "liner" part is striped fleece to resemble a pleated cupcake liner. The "frosting" is super soft minky fleece that feels so good during cuddle time.
Cupcake taggie measures approx. 12 inches tall x 11 inches wide (not counting the ribbon tags)
Bib is 8 in. wide x 10.5 in. tall.
The taggie blanket could also be used as a burp cloth, wash cloth or diaper changing pad in a pinch. Just toss it in the wash when you get home.
