Praepostero, in latin this translates to "upside down" but for many a vagabond this translates to "certain death". This long rifle earns its name from a very peculiar choice of optics; instead of magnifying like a conventional scope the Praepostero's optics flip everything upside down. Using only the finest in Gaussian technology, the Praepostero can easily hurl any metal object at supersonic speeds.
The stock on this prop rifle has been hand carved and stained by Mr. Eden with a low gloss top coat. The scope is a decorative brass tube with glass lens and authentic leather hand stitched wrap. It does indeed project an upside down image as the name proclaims! The barrel is metal and copper in color. A brass wire has been wound around the exterior of the barrel. The end of the barrel has a brass muzzle break. The trigger guard has beautiful decorative elements and is made of solid brass. There is a vintage bell hammer near scope. Mrs. Eden has hand painted the embellishments with 18 karat gold leafing.
The gun is constructed entirely from wood and metal parts with parachord used as binding. It is approximately 39 inches long and 5 inches at its widest point.
Perfect for cosplay and conventions!
