The yarn is a wool acrylic blend, approximately 50/50. The yarn is thick and soft, nice and warm and pleasant to the touch not at all scratchy.
I knit this scarf in garter stitch so the scarf does not roll at the edges but lies flat.
This is a simple, masculine scarf that can be doubled to knot around the neck for a neat look and extra warmth. It has a thick fringe. Not too long and cumbersome, It is approximately 6 3/4 inches wide, 56 inches long, not including the fringe.
