However, when I wrapped the rings I was not happy with the way the "rosette" looked. Alas all was not lost though because I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I liked the new design as well. This wrap reminds me of coiled nautical rope so I have called this one "Nautilus" and have decided to include it in my made to order line.
The band consists of two wraps of wire and is just under 3mm wide. The nautilus is approx. 6-8mm wide and 2mm high.
I really like this ring in the shiny bright silver finish because the twisted wire really makes the ring sparkle when the light hits it. However, I can also oxidize (darken) this design for a more rustic/antique look if you prefer. If you would like the ring oxidized (darkened) make sure you tell me so in the message to seller box during checkout. If no preference is stated then you will receive the bright silver finish.
Each ring is work hardened using a nylon hammer and tumble polished for greater strength and durability. The ring pictured is a size 7.
