Scotty is a one of a kind Original Gourd Snowman created by me Penny Grotz Streit. Scotty is painted as a visual story. His big sweet smile indicates his love for his little scotty dog "Ginger" and her baby "Buddy" sitting in a basket. The dogs are cairn terriers. He also has a penchant for ice cream. On his back is a sign indicating ice cream cones for sale. A little cardinal bird is perched on top of the sign. Paper clay was used for his scarf and paper mache for the top of his hat.
He Measures 10" tall by 5 1/2" across.
Scotty has been faux antiqued with an umber wash.
He will come artist signed and dated by me with a 1/1 indicating he is a one of a kind and will not be recreated. Scotty has several coats of polyurethane applied for protection.
I Just finished Scotty today. If someone buys him today (Jan. 8th, 2012) I will wait 2 days to send him so his polyurethane coatings have cured properly. Other wise Scotty will ship on the following business day. Thanks for looking, Penny
