THIS LISTING IS FOR THE EMBROIDERY PATTERN DRAWN ON FABRIC ONLY....the hoop and black thread and needle are not included.
The fabric drawing measures 8" tall X 5.5" wide.
The one you will receive will not have hemmed edges....which will make it easier to fit into your embroidery hoop.
I have taken the time to draw Jane's portrait onto cotton white fabric for you to embroider using black floss. It will be a masterpiece that you can frame and claim as your own in the end!
The intricate detailing of the drawing, with all the ruffles in her clothing will be a fun thing to work on in the evenings. I like to work with fine threads, so I take my embroidery floss and split it into two strands....so, cut your length of thread, but before threading your needle with it, pull it apart from six strands down to two. Your work will be finer, without all that bulky thread - and you'll be able to work all the detailing in for an authentic victorian look.
This would also make a perfect gift for an avid lover of embroidery and anything and everything Jane Austen!
