This is a tin flour bin from the 1930's. It is marked Fries on the lower front and also on the bottom. The inside both the tin and cover are in nice clean condition. It is as found and I have not touched it. It is 15" high and the cover is 10 1/2" across. The lid bracket is broken so the lid has to be lifted off. The circumference is 32 1/2".
In the 1930's flour came in much bigger packages than now and mostly everybody did their own baking. This would be a delightful display in a vintage farmhouse kitchen. There is some rust on the outside as you would expect from this era.
The original white paint is still in rather good condition and the word flour is still complete
