This is a primitive miniature version of the infamous statue recovered by Inspector Legrasse in H.P. Lovecraft's "The Call of Cthulhu." The statue measures approximately 2 1/8 inches tall and 1 1/8 inches wide. It is made of urethane resin with gold-colored dust embedded within to imitate the idol's description in the story: "Totally separate and apart, its very material was a mystery; for the soapy, greenish-black stone with its golden or iridescent flecks and striations resembled nothing familiar to geology or mineralogy." The picture is an example. Because each piece is individually crafted, slight variations may occur.
