The perfect way to give a wish to someone you love! Reminiscent of a dandelion seed pod, these particular seeds are much larger, and come from a plant called milkweed. Milkweed is a flower that grows around my old house in Pennsylvania. It's where monarch butterflies lay their eggs, and what their caterpillars feed on once hatched. In the fall the flowers turn into strange spiky pods that are filled with seeds. I've always loved them, and if you've been one of my customers for a while, you probably have received one or two of them since I include them with most of my packages. Then I realized that I can make them into something that you can wear and give to the person you love! I secured them in little glass jars that are about one and half by three quarters of an inch. The corks are secured with a spot of glue, and attached to a long 26” chain that is soldered for extra strength. Because they are a plant seed, they will not be available overseas due to customs issues. I don't think Australia or anyone else needs any more invasive species!
