When I designed the case my goal was for it to look like it a part of the phone instead of a case for the phone. Owners of the case all agree that when they take the case off, it looks like the phone is missing something. I work with a team of masters in a lot of fields that all assist to make this engineering marvel a reality. The other goal of Brikk is philanthropy. For each of these Gold Trims we sell, we give a metric ton (1000kg or 2,200 lbs) of rice in your name to hungry populations around the world through NGO's such as the UN World Food Program. Alternatively we can make a contribution in your name to a different charity if you choose.
The case protects the phone from drops up to 6 feet (2 meters). It has a very thin edge that protects both the front and back glass from direct impacts which means that we do not have to put a bulky or heavy back to the case. It has an internal silicone gasket that allows for internal shock absorption. The case attaches to the phone without tools because of a very special engineered design. Each Trim is engraved and numbered and rice donation amount.

We have four standard finishes. This is our Gold model.
Gold: because Gold will not adhere to Titanium through traditional processes such as plating, we have to coat the Titanium inside of a vacuum chamber and have the Gold broken down into molecules and attach them one by one to the Titanium. This process is so complex and high end that it is only used on scientific applications currently and has never been used on consumer goods. We then have to use a clear vapor to seal in the Gold so that it is rugged enough for many years of use. The color of the Gold is perfect deep Gold color as we use 24 carat pure Gold that is 99.99999 (yep, thats 5 nines after the decimal point).
