For the dimension that it has, it is fairly light weight.
A blue fondant wrapped cupcake suffers through life as a hot pink vampire bear eats it. Sounds like a bad horror film, but it makes for a nice bobby pin.
This is something that would make an incredible gift to the girl who already has all of the accessories. Or for someone who digs hot pink carnage :D
The cupcake, the bear, and all of their details were crafted out of polymer clay by me. The backing may look unfinished, but I tried to make it as flat as possible for comfort when wearing.
In addition to being made out of polymer clay you can see the claw marks the bear has already inflicted upon the blue fondant style iced cupcake. The cupcake also has a little spinkling of clear glitter. The glitter has been secured to the clay via a shiny and protective glaze.
I did not use any molds or paint in the creation of this item.
The bobby pin is a standard nickle free metal.
