The Shinsei necklace is a long necklace featuring a large, breathtaking carved South Sea Mabe Pearl in shell focal. The silver and gold shading of the shell and the golden creamy color of the pearl are100% natural without any enhancements whatsoever.
Measuring approx 66mm x 65mm and weighing 14.5 grams, the stunning piece has been expertly carved by master craftsmen from a single penguin wing oyster shell originating in Sumbawa, Indonesia.
The ginkgo leaf design and fine detailing are truly superb.The pearl growing out of the shell is very large at approx 20+mm and 11.7mm thick.
Both the pearl and the surrounding carving are highly lustrous, with an iridescent rainbow overtone and a silken glow.
The design follows the natural curve of the shell which adds life to the beautiful leaf motif.
The spectacular focal suspends from a very long and sturdy Sterling reversed rope chain. Its bail is finely wire wrapped around a AAA creamy white Freshwater Pearl.
The Shinsei necklace measures 28" - the length can be further adjusted as needed. The focal drops 3 3/8th" from the top of the bail and sits below the chest.
