I use 3 strands of strong, durable yarn for the base (please let me know which colors you'd like for the base of the throw I design specifically for you).
This richly textured throw blanket is warm without being suffocating and is the perfect size to snuggle one person or a couple (5 feet long including fringe x 3 feet wide to start; it's very elastic because of the special stitch I used, so it easily stretches to up to 6 feet wide).
When laid lengthwise, it easily covers the width of a queen sized mattress, so it makes a lovely warmer at the foot of the bed in a guest bedroom or in any room of the house.
As with most of my work, please just let me know if you'd like yours a little different; custom orders & special requests are welcome and I generally can make a design more heavy or lightweight, wider or thinner, shorter or longer, use different colors, etc.
