A rich medley of brown jaquard matelasse', vintage rayon pebble crepe, black Italian silk brocade, bark cut velveteen, antique scalloped lace, and vintage lace printed taffeta, acquiesce into a perfectly arranged marriage of unusual textiles. The lace meets at the nape of the hat to form an unexpected ruffle, and a vintage lucite button, matching the front focal point with the same lucite Celtic knot. Feathers are few, with guinea and delicate whisker-like dyed ostrich fronds, accenting the center front. The crown is semi-soft, while the brim is hand blocked and wired for a firm edge. As we use only vintage buttons and lace, those will be a bit different in future hats. Please convo me before placing your order if you are not open to this subtle detail change.
Please note: As this is a made to order hat, you will need to provide your head measurement. Measure around the brow to the fullest part of the back of your head, over the ears, plus one finger under the tape measure. Please allow 2-3 weeks before delivery.
