This listing is for two 2-ply slightly thick and thin skeins, with a total weight of 7.7 oz., spun at an average of 1520 ypp (yards per pound), a fine sport weight. The total yardage for the skein is approximately 735 yards. Soft and spongy, this yarn wraps at 14-16. Polworth is an under-used fleece, it’s very elastic, dyes beautifully, spins fluffy and feels cuddly. The roving was dyed by Crown Mountain.
See my Store Policy FAQs section for further knitting gauge suggestions for various yard weights, a bit about sheep breeds and yarn softness and care instructions for different fibers.
My skeins are wound on a full 2-yard niddy-noddy. If you don’t have a large swift, let me know. Spun in a smoke-free, pet-friendly home.
