This case is extraordinary -close to one hundred years of use has given it great character. Check out the amazing hardware on this case. Leather side handles are still intact.
This piece of furniture offers remarkable storage options. Use it for game storage in the family room, or at the end of a bed in a bedroom and fill it with linens.
The inside of the case is lined in it's original light blue and white stripe fabric. The lining shows a bit of water damage, however, the wood on the bottom of the case is sturdy and undamaged. The surface of the table is uneven in some areas, caused by the wood swelling. If using this table everyday as a coffee table, I suggest having a piece of glass cut for the top to make the top perfectly flat.
This table is very large and would look amazing in a large room with worn leather furniture. On the flip side, my home is small and modern and I LOVE the ancient vibe it brings into the living space.
4" Iron, hand made hairpin legs are attached at the bottom.
