The sides of the crown flare out dramatically in abstract twists and curls, which are accentuated with fluffy ostrich feathers in snow white. A veil of seed beads cascades from the temples, to create an elegant frame for the wearer's face. All of the beadwork is hand sewn by me in the US, using high quality beads such as glass seed beads, freshwater pearls, Czech glass opals and droplets, vintage German crystals, and abundance of vintage Swarovski crystal. The lead crystals refract light, and shower the wearer's face and neck with rainbows and glimmers (these photos were taken in diffused light, which does not illustrate this effect, but please trust me -- it is absolutely stunning).
It's a half crown or tiara, measuring about 12" wide by 10" high at the longest point of the beadwork. It ties with gorgeous and durable elastic ribbon in snowy white.
