Vintage Cover Journal - Red Journal
This handmade journal was lovingly designed and made by me.
Cover:
~ a vintage book that was falling apart and headed for the dump
~ "The Decameron, Vol. 2", written by Giovanni Boccaccio, published in 1953 by J.M. Dent & Sons in London
~ the front and back covers are both blank
~ the covers are a rich red
~ the covers are in good condition
Paper:
~ 120 blank pages (counting both sides)
~ six signatures (sections)
~ ivory 24 lb specialty parchment paper
~ acid & lingin free and archival quality paper
~ a smooth paper, great for any dry medium

Binding:
~ coptic stitch binding
~ extra strong natural linen thread
~ this kind of binding allows the journal to lay all the way open, enabling you to utilize the entire page

~ a perfect size for on-the-go writing
~ the spine from the original book is included as a bookmark
