Late 1950s/early 1960s cotton (possibly cotton blend) day dress in an interesting stylised check design. The skirt is pleated and there is a metal zipper at the back from just below the waist with a hook and eye closure at the neck. The bodice is partially lined in black. There are belt loops but the belt is missing.


Condition: Overall very good. The label is frayed but the fabric of the dress itself is in very good condition and quite sturdy. The seam on the right underarm is starting to open slightly but this does not effect wear.

Underarm to Underarm: 38"/96.5cm (this dress is intended to be worn blousy so is probably better suited to a smaller bust - models measurements were approximately 36 bust, 28 waist)

Neck opening is approximately 16.5"/42cm around.
