Carnation Red ink in an iconic Waterman's bottle. Designed by Ted Piazzoli in the 1930s a Waterman's ink bottle allowed the use of the last drops of ink by tipping the bottle on its edge without spilling the contents. This is a 2 oz bottle, approximately two thirds full.

It was difficult to photograph the colour of this ink. It is a dark purple red with hints of pink. I used it with a dip pen and it writes wonderfully. Waterman's Carnation Red is a perfect gift for fountain pen and ink enthusiasts.
