Mid Century Gorham Sterling Silver and Walnut Salad Bowl

The beautiful, simple lines of this large wood bowl are complemented by a sterling silver foot. Originally intended as a salad bowl, this piece can now serve as a striking centerpiece or fruit bowl.

Measures 6 ½ inches high, 11 ½ inches wide, 10 ⅜ inches deep. Silver base stamped ‘GORHAM STERLING 1118’.

Overall condition is good, but the finish on the wood surface has some scratches, lifting and wear, and would benefit from some refreshing (the silver base can easily be unscrewed so that the wood bowl can be refinished).
